The original Oscar-winning ARRIMAX remains the ultimate choice for productions requiring maximum light output. The 580 mm (22.8″) diameter parabolic facet reflector allows for continuous focus adjustment from 15° to 50° beam angle, and because the ARRIMAX requires no diffusing lenses, shadows are sharp and easy to cut.

Safe and easy to use with both 18/12 kW and 18,000 W single-ended lamps, the ARRIMAX utilizes a more robust GX51 lamp base. ARRI engineers designed a special lamp holder for this base, which relieves mechanical stress on the lamp pins and now serves only as an electrical connection. The lamp tensioning mechanism is self-aligning and uses a sturdy, recessed lamp locking handle. To ensure crews can easily use either 12,000 W lamps or versions of 18,000 W single-ended lamps with G38 bases, the new

lamp holder accepts either lamp type without modification or adjustment.
