Black Frost® filters enable extraordinary control and convenience. These are primarily styling, or mood modifying filters. Depending on the grade chosen, they subtly enhance a scene without degrading the image quality or black saturation. Black Frost® enables cinematographers to capture blacker blacks than are possible with similar types of filters.

Black Frost® filters enable a photographer to maintain extraordinary control when shooting a scene that requires the soft look of a diffusion filter combined with the rich blacks. DPs achieve a unique image styling. An almost airbrushed look to the image by keeping skin tone. A fine black mist flairs highlights, tones down contrast, while retaining rich blacks.
