This hot swap adapter is attached between a camera with a V-mount connection and a V-mount battery and supplies the camera with power uninterrupted for a short time in order to change the battery. Red flashing lights clearly indicate when the backup battery is in use and the main battery should be replaced.
If an exchange of the cells is desired, the costs for this exchange would be added to the purchase price.
